Peter is a Panofsky Fellow running a small group at SLAC dedicated to the development of cryogenic correlative light and electron microscopy methods. His work focus on leveraging the unique information provided by both fluorescence microscopy and electron tomography, which when correlated, provide clearer insight into tough biological problems. His group works closely with Wah Chiu's lab and W. E. Moerner's lab as well as numerous biology groups at Stanford. Outside of lab Peter spends his free time with his wife and two young daughters.
