Lydia is a cryo-EM specialist at Stanford-SLAC. She specializes in SEM applications and development of novel techniques related to volume imaging, both for cryo- and conventional EM. She uses cryoFIB-SEM and cryo-ET to answer intriguing questions about the secret life of plants and microbes, while also supporting users in Single Particle Data collection. When not tied to an electron microscope, she enjoys running, hiking, photography and playing the piano.
